I have been teaching full time at Thornton for 9 years. This is my seventh year as the Physical
Education Teacher. My history with Thornton begins in the early 70’s. I was very fortunate to
attend Thornton for 1st through 5th grades. After I graduated from THS, I went to Texas A&M
and received my BS in Kinesiology. I have taught in Houston, Ft. Worth and New Orleans. I
moved back to Temple and both of my children attended Thornton. I spend time in San Antonio
watching my daughter run Cross Country for Trinity and time watching my son play tennis and
soccer for THS.
