Welcome to Thornton Elementary! 

I am very excited for our new school year.  My journey at Thornton began 28 years ago.   While at Thornton, I have taught 1st grade for 15 years and K/1 multi-age for 6 years. This will be my 8th year as a librarian.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from UMHB and Master of Library Science from the University of North Texas.  I can’t wait for you to visit the library. We have many fun activities and reading initiatives planned.  It will be an awesome year.
