Craig Wilson is entering his 23rd year in education, 11 of which as a principal. He has had the opportunity to teach Grade 5, Grade 4, and Kindergarten. He has also been an Instructional Technology Specialist at two elementary schools, one middle school, and a Technology Academy High School in the greater Houston area.
Mr. Wilson received an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's in Education Administration from The University of Houston, and has completed his Superintendence Certification at Texas A&M Central Texas.
After a brief 4 year journey to Michigan, Mr. Wilson came to his senses and moved home to The Lone Star State.
Mr. Wilson has a beautiful daughter, Hannah, who is a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin. His wife, Susan, is the Head Start Director at Edwards Academy. They share their home with two crazy dogs who live at Thornton as much as he does.
When not at school, Mr. Wilson enjoys fishing at the coast, hiking in the hill country, playing video games, woodworking in his garage, and attending Longhorn Football games.
He is a member of the Temple Rotary Club and attends St. Luke Catholic Church.
